Real Life Network

For my real life network I decided to continue with my reoccurring theme of the contrast between blurred and crisp edges

Fluid Form

As part of my first semester I was asked to create a model expressing fluid form as either an industrial object, an interior, exterior or a landscape. Drawing inspiration for my model from designs by Herzog and De meuron I created a fluid landscape model with intricate panels made of polypropylene held together with yellow thread. This model is successful because of its fluid shape, crisp detailed edges contrasting with the blurred back ground and the way the poly prop captures light allowing my model to glow. I really enjoyed designing and creating this model and my enjoyment shows in the detail and craft.

Here's a pretty cool blog I found on Landscape photography that's pretty helpful in creating depth in your photographs its pretty sweet.

Another really good design blog i found pretty much on graphic design has some really choice inspirational pictures.

this last one I found has some really interesting more modern designs for interior furniturings that really caught my attention.
Also here are three student sites from my year group that I think are quite good.

Process (walk in the park)

For my VLog I decided to just film the process of me walking through the same park that I shot my real life network

Blog Review

So far in my blogging experience I have found some awesomly designed blogs some interesting blogs and some not so mind blowing blogs.

When I really started to look at other blogs one that stood out from the rest for its attractive design and sexy grafetti art was http://weburbanist.com/. The work posted on this site is amazing and its deffinatly woth a look.

A really interesting blog I found is coverd in images of retro designs its great its like jumping back in time I think I'll actually recomend this blog aswel deffinatly worth a glance or two http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/04/21/celebration-of-vintage-and-retro-design/

One blog that I'm sure alot of people like is http://designismine.blogspot.com/ however I'm not the worlds biggest fan theres something about this blog maybe its the colour or just the design in general anyway i just don't like it.
